The mario mask and King Dedede mask on the back of the Happy Mask Salesman in LoZ Majora's Mask? ^-^ I love it when they cross reference in games like that! xD Or in anime too.

Yes! Thank you lol. I haven't played in a while my gc controller isn't working any more and I refuse to buy off the military base cause it's more expensive.

You're welcome heart And that's really to bad D: R.I.P GC! It's always sad when a good console dies. I didn't know Majora's Mask could be played on the GC. I've only seen it played on the N64. sweatdrop
I've actually never beaten the game myself though. I'm terrible at games with time limits xd I've only made it passed the first temple in MM.
You might be able to find one in decent condition for cheap on ebay or something. When you say you refuse to buy off the base do you mean from the base or when you aren't in base?

Only the controller has died! It's just annoying trying to search for one off base (we are in England) and it's expensive as well (10 dollars for a controller is 15ish pounds or some sort)

Ooh I understand. Is it the controller itself or the connector piece? If the buttons for the analog stick are just loose, stuck, or not functioning it's a lot cheaper to buy and replace the pieces than it is to buy a new controller all together.

You can replace the buttons??

Yeah, a friend of mine replaced the buttons on one of my GC controllers last year. He didn't do it around me, but he said you buy the new buttons, follow these instructions to get the old ones out link and then follow the directions in reverse to put the new buttons in.

That's brilliant, I'll have to look into that.

That looks kind of scary but I guess if it's already broken you have nothing to lose. When my SNES game couldn't save because of a battery issue, I just bought a new one. If you mess up you can't play the game but the game was still playable if you want to dedicate half the day to it.

Hopefully you can fix it though! I loved Majora's Mask.

I have the collectors addition for the gc. It's got MM, OoT, a little bit of Windmaker, and it's got the first ones.

It's sort of a fun and useful thing to learn how to do =] I think that buying just the buttons is probably cheaper than buying an entire controller too.

Yeah, it looks really scary, but it's not to much different from taking apart a small fan. It's mostly simple, as long as you don't forget what sequence you used to take it apart. The only trouble would come from if you broke the wire's connection while trying to move it or losing important pieces as you're trying to fix it. And like you said, if the controller is already broken you got nothing to lose. ^-^ It's sort of a fun and useful thing to learn to do.

I've got the ame game and that's how I played OoT and Majora's Mask too. I tried the original two games too but apparently, I'm only made for SNES games up. NES games kick my butt but it is back in the dame where difficulty account for much of a game's length. D:

And it sounds more like something for my little brother to do. He likes screwing around with things. I can't even be trusted to open a milk carton on my own. razz

Speaking of glitches, I'm still ticked off about a glitch that made me have to reset my game on Skyward Sword because Link kept respawning over a hole. It was amusing at first but I'm the type to get annoyed at anything that isn't an innocent little glitch or easter egg.

Haha, for sure. Atleast you can save in those ones though, right? I can't play the old Castlevania games because there was no save. Die once and play the entire game over again. I don't know how old-skool gamers didn't go insane xD
Wow, that sounds like a pretty annoying glitch sweatdrop My reaction probably would've been the same as yours. Lol Glitches that get you legitimately stuck can only be entertaining for so long. Was that basically a perpetual fall glitch?

Hmm, I do remember Castlevania letting you continue where you left off if you died three times. I played it recently.

It was a perpetual fall glitch and it was all cutscene of Link falling through, getting up and falling again, so I couldn't get out of it.

Really? Which version was that one? I only have two N64 versions, and a newer version for the DS.

Oh no! =[ those are the least fun type of glitches.

It was Castlevania II: Simon's quest. The typos in that game are to die for. I only got far enough to "prossess" Dracula's rib but I can't get over it.

As far as glitches go though, the one in Skyward Sword wasn't the worst I had. There was a PS2 game where I had to delete the file off of the memory card and start all over again because it was unfixable otherwise. Resetting the console didn't help. I think that's the one that really turned me off from activating the "innoncent" glitches.

I also heard something about glitches in older games like could actually ruin the cartridge too.

Whaat? That's crazy. I wouldn't want take a chance exploiting glitches if it had a chance at killing the game. confused

I think what's important is that you do a little research on the glitches. Many of them are relatively harmless or just little cute easter eggs or flat annoying. I would also think that many you can stumble on yourself may be file destructive - frustrating all the same - but not game destructive.

I know my friend had a lot of fun messing Twilight Princess up on a borrowed game, but as far as I'm concerned, it's probably a cheap enough game anyway if you want to have a hayday with glitches. wink

One of the things that really bother me in the games is Link's magical bag. He can fit bombs in them, butt load of rupees, heavy weapons like boots somehow, and managing to fit clothes in there too. Is there another pouch or something where he keeps other items?? Well since it's a game, I guess I might to accept the fact that this knight has a whole universe in just one tiny bag.
