How do you use Link's rapid stab? I've seen other people use it, and I've done it before by accident, but I don't know what buttons to press.

Press A without any direction and continue pressing it. The rapid slash should come up afterwards.

Yeah, you have to press A, but you have to do it quickly, but after you begin to strike quick, you can tap A normally..
For example: Press A really fast, and once you see him rapidly stabbing, you can tap the A button normally now.
