"Alright," Midna decided, "Let's move." She eased herself through the Twilight, feeling comfortably at home. She disliked the Light Realm, but she disliked Zant more. She led the way along the path to Eldin's Spring.
Eldin sensed them coming and screeched. "COME NO CLOSER!" he bellowed.
Zelda froze. "Midna..." she said uncomfortably. "Something about his tone... I think..."
Midna had already sensed it too late. "Run!" she yelled.
Zant eased himself out of his hiding place. "Miss me...?" he asked coolly.

Alaci jumped when she heard Eldin yell. Startled, she looked around franticaly before seeing Zant, remembering him from the last time, Alaci hissed and harrowed her eyes at Zant angerly.
Vitia fluttered up towards the top of tree, startled by both Zant and Eldin. Vitia blinked and watched Zant carefully, sensing power and darkness emanating from him. Curious, Vitia soared over the group and Zant and gracefully landed in a tree directly behind Zant.

Coremean hissed at Zant. He might be scared, but Zant didn't need to know it. He eyed Zant nervously. He doubted he could replicate his distracting stunt this time, if need be.
Lyri glared at the evil mass that all of the animals were snarling or hissing at. She felt it practically give off darkness, as if it had totally succumbed to it. She scowled. Lyri didn't like how this... Thing, was endangering her beloved brother's life. If it took one more step towards him... Lyri unsheathed her daggers slowly, careful not to make a sound, and watched Zant.

(Oh, you're all waiting for me ^^)
Zant grinned at the menagerie of animals. "Ah, I feel so loved," he sighed. "Now, however, I suppose I have to fix that. I should be a bit more hated." He scanned the creatures already there. His eyes fixed on the small gray cat. "You..." he began to advance.
Midna bravely floated in front of Coremean. "I don't know what he did, but lay off," she hissed. "I'm not defenseless." Yes I am, she added silently, but Zant didn't need to know that.
Zelda silently removed her bow and tried to sink into the shadows.

Alaci tensed, preparing to leap at Zant if he got any closer to any of them. "I can't belive I'm about to risk my life for people I barely know," Alaci thought as she watched Zant with orange eyes.
Vitia watched the scene carefully from above. She couldn't help but watch to see how it ended, who would die, who would run off terrified. Then Vitia looked at the other gray cat who was watching Zant. A few minutes passed before Vitia recongnized who it was. "Well, I certainly didn't expect to see you here," Vitia thought, her dark eyes glinting as she watched her sister. A slight movement caused Vitia to look away, seeing some sort of being hiding in the trees. She watched the person closely and flew across the spring and landed in the tree above the person.

Coremean flinched a little bit as Zant came toward him, but Midna had stopped him... He nodded thankfully to Midna. He didn't know how he would be able to handle Zant this time.
Lyri growled under her breath. Pulling a bandana up over her face, she inched closer towards the group.

Rayne had stopped whining to Andarlos and took his stand by Coremean. "Well I have no problems dealing with him!" He growled. Before he knew it, he was running towards Zant as fast as his sore legs could carry him. Then he jumped up and pounced, his jaws bounded for his shoulder.
((Well, something had to happen. Rayne: I hate being your character. >.>))

Zant almost lazily shot his sword out and struck the fox aside. "Naughty, naughty," he scolded. "You should learn to train your animals better, Midna. This one seems like a bit of a loose cannon."
"Rayne!" Zelda cried, running towards the nonmoving fox. She needed to get him to safety. Zant's blow had done a good deal of damage.
Midna swallowed hard. "Run," she muttered out of the corner of her mouth. She was starting to grow partial to these people; they had, after all, risked their lives to save hers. And in return, she realized guiltily, she had yelled at Link and ignored his protests. She made up her mind to apologize when she next saw him.
(I'll leave the specifics of the damage to you, Dioji. ^^)

"RAYNE!" Coremean practically screamed. Dashing over to Rayne, he frantically assessed Rayne's injuries. "Rayne! Are you okay??"
Feeling her brother's sorrow, Lyri snapped. charging at Zant, she slashed frantically and uselessly at Zant. Knowing full well she wasn't hurting Zant in the least bit, she yelled to her brother while she still had the energy and the speed to distract him. "Run Coremean! RUN! Bring your friends with you!! GO NOW!"

Midna wheeled, a little surprised by the sudden appearance of the girl, but she took stock of the situation. "Go!" she yelled. "Retreat towards the village!" She flew at the others in an effort to make them move. "Zelda, pick him up and let's go!" she ordered.
Zelda gingerly picked Rayne up, not wanting to hurt him. "Crap," she hissed, lugging the fox back down the path. "Hurry!" she shouted.
Zant whirled his helmet, trying to spot the shadowy girl that had appeared from nowhere. He swung his sword, trying to hit her, but the blade simply went through the image of the girl. "Stop moving!" he spat.

Could... this be... it?
In a dark corner of the abandoned building nearby, Karathor looked upon one of the insects holding the light of that being in the spring outside. Speaking of.... outside; there was a looming darkness much stronger than it'd been when he was out there. As if it had cloaked itself somehow. Then, why did it appear in front of that band of travelers? Is this new presence in league with that imp?Perhaps.... if they were going to steal the light from those other creatures who had been touched by the darkness, perhaps he could overwhelm them and steal theirs first. Then the light would be no match for him. All he needed was a taste of his own power, from his other body. The only way to get that at this point was the light of that spirit within the spring....
Or was there another way? Looking down at the insect, he smirked, his thoughts brewing within. Yet another insect stirred nearby under the same roof. It was a long shot, but it was worth it. Soon, Karathor was slithering out from the foundation of the building. In seconds, he had eased his way along the wall as an amorphous darkness creeping closer to Zant's backside. The light of the spirit was concealed deep within himself, hidden behind the very darkness within himself, which was concealed even more within this spectral body which had been given to him by the touch of darkness. It was similar to the power of the figure standing across from the rest of them.
Slowly he crept, his shadowy figure moving silently over the wall behind Zant. He moved down to the dirt floor, still getting closer until he was less than three feet from Zant's back. Very slowly, as the figure was distracted by the others who were of the light, some of them attacking him, he rose from his puddle of darkness on the ground to a full body, a black silhouette lined with an aura of dark red that slowly grew stronger as he let his power rise from within to strike and consume this being.

Lyri jumped back, just in time. If she had pursued her attack longer... She might not have been alive long enough to see her brother off. "What in the world?!"
Despite the strange boy yelling at him to go, he froze. Who was this strange person? He seemed strangly familiar... Seeing Midna rush them out, he finally budged. He turned around late enough just to see something rise up from behind Zant.
(Lyri looks like a boy in her twilight form XD)

Alaci froze and dug her claws into the ground. Hearing every yelling at them to run, Alaci turned and sprinted out of the spring. Alaci didn't stop runnin guntil she was far enough away from the commotion, looking around, she realized she had run into the village. Alaci blinked, everything seemed familiar. It only took her a few minutes to realize she was back home in Kakariko village. Alaci sighed softly and looked around to see if anyone else had gotten out.
Vitia watched as the form she had been watching jump out of the shadows, attacking the large dark being. It wasn't long before she spotted Alaci run away, "Coward, it looks like you're still weak," Vitia muttered, watching her sister flee. Turning her attention back to the scene, Vitia watched as a red and black form rose from the ground behind the dark being. Vitia watched, silently wondering what would happen.

Rayne slowly opened his eyes again as Zelda carried him down the path. His felt antagonizing pain from his chest, and he also thought that the fur on his chest felt wet. Perhaps he was bleeding? No, scratch that. He had to be bleeding, but he didn't know how deep the wound was without looking at it. Rayne whimpered quietly.
