Gomeric: Your fangtooth fish was an excellent interpretation of something that was not really attractive but beutifully drawn at the same time. We really liked the feeling it evoked... of like but dislike at the same time : ) great job
Teacloud: We love the feeling your drawing envoked. Kind of an empty longing, someone who is invisible on the outside but could possibly be beautiful with in. Beautifull drawing, thank you for your submission this month : )
Nobody's fault: With your submission your words came and took us more then the drawing itself. A very sad message but unfortunately a very real situation which many people face. We found that the words you used held a powerfull message.
Lemon black tea: Beautiful submission, we loved checking out all the refined details and connection between the characters in your drawings. : ) We didn't feel like your drawings related as well to the monthly theme of something ugly however. But the drawings you submitted were lovely, and we equally enjoyed seeing how you connected the characters together through there tears. : ) lovely piece of art!
A big thanks to everyone who competed this month. The theme was not an easy one, so it was great that people didn't let that discourage them, and still tried out ^_^ !!!! Great job everyone!
Welcome to the "Artist and Art collectors paradise" monthly art contest.
What is the contest?
The contest is a way for the guild to show what kind of talent our members have.
How do I apply?
To apply, simply fill out the the fallowing form, and attach a drawing that shows off your talent as an artist. You may submit as many drawing as you'd like, so long as the drawing was done by you, and made during the month of July 2011. You may use art you did for commissions however you will need the approval of the client you did the art for (which in most cases I do not think this will be a problem)

-1st place, 300k, plus your image will be displayed in the guild home page for the month of August

Q:
I don't draw, I use another medium to do my art, can I still compete?
A:
YES, if your a photographer, you may submit an awsome photo you took during the month. If your a sculpter you may submit an amazing sculpture you did during the month, and so on. This contest is open to all artistic mediums.
