no more pain for zeus

last night i checked on him and he was hardly moving at all, he hardly even lifted his head when i pet him and i knew he would die that night. i sat with him a bit and said my goodbyes. i left him with the other boys so he wouldnt be alone when he died

this morning i checked in on him and he was dead. of course the other 2 boys ate a little bit of him since i left him in there all night but they are rats and thats what they do if left in the same cage as a body for too long


well since he died after midnight i guess my birthday present is not having to watch my baby suffer so much anymore



zeus didnt have the easiest life. he went through alot. was almost killed by pickles, went blind in one eye, got the puss tumor thing. but he was a good rat. he wasnt very cuddly to me and didnt like being held but he was very close with newton.

i was really upset earlier today but the more i think about i realized im just relieved and very happy he isnt hurting any more. seeing him with that giant think on his head and neck was just breaking my heart.

im going to miss him but im happy he wont feel pain anymore
