~lyrics that speak~ Is a place to post lyrics that say something to you or just post lyrics that are funny or just because you want to. If they mean something to you you can post why or not this is just a really care free place, you can even discuss music with each other just no bashing bands, singers, or people.

But if i tell the world, ill never say enough 'cause it was not said to you and thats exactly what i need to do if i'd end up eith you
Should i give up or should i just keep chasin pavements? Even if it leads to nowhere? Or would it just be a waste even if i knew my place? Should i leave it there?
I build myself up and fly around in circles wait then as my heart drops and my back begins to tingle Finally could this be it?
Adele: Chasing Pavements This really says a lot about what im feeling and thinking right now.

Fallen - Florence and the MachinesI've fallen out of favour And I've fallen out of grace I've fallen out of trees And I've fallen on my face Fallen out of taxis Out of windows, too. Fell in your opinion When I fell in love with you.
Sometimes I wish for falling Wish for the release Wish for falling through the air To give me some relief Because falling's not the problem When I'm falling I'm at peace It's only when I hit the ground That causes all the grief. That's only some of the lyrics, certainly not all of them. You have to hear them with the music to get the full effect.

The fire went out and then the phone rang As much as I try, your hard to resist All that it takes is just one kiss
And I"m putty in your hands I"m under your spell You send me spinning
You pull me in close, you throw me away I keep coming back like a boomerang You tell me to go, you beg me to stay I keep coming back like a boomerang ~Bommerang by: Plain White T's

In The Black - Marian Call You're in the black, in the black, in the black Ain't it lovely baby, not comin' back You're in the black, ain't you free No more threats, no more debts You're in the black baby, you left it all behind, But you're still fine, yeah you're fine, still
We wish we could see you, We thought you might find time to write us now and then You're free, now and you're lonely We love you but please do not ask us to pretend Come home if you want a friend
Can't quite say why these particular lines speak to me. Particularly the last line - Come home if you want a friend - guess I'm still looking for "home". And a nonjudgemental friend. Or one who really actually tries to be so and can look past their own views when they demand I do so.

Turbo Swag-Attack Attack! All I need, all I need is a simple escape Can't you see my mind as it struggles to be sane An escape from everything, oh It finally changes on the inside, oh Why do we forget, all the things that don't matter? Listen to what I say, just latch onto the words forever What are we fighting for? What are we fighting for? And now I've got to find a simple escape

It's a nice thread :3 I just get weary when people call me their "true friends" but can't seem to reconcile the fact that I'm not happy all the time and I have a reason. Meh. It sounds different without context but yeah...

Boa - DuvetAnd you don't seem to understand A shame you seemed an honest man and all the fears you hold so dear Will turn to whisper in your ear.
And you know what they say might hurt you But you know that it means so much And you don't even feel a thing I am falling I am fading I have lost it all
And you don't seem the lying kind A shame that I can read your mind And all the things that I read there Candle lit smile we both share
And you know I don't mean to hurt you But you know that it means so much And you don't even feel a thing I am falling I am fading I am drowning Help me to breathe I am hurting I have lost it all I am losing Help me to breathe.
I can 'feel' when I sing these lyrics. I can't quite relate to the lyrics, but perhaps the gist of it. It's because I used to have a crush on my best friend. The catch is I'm also a guy. I liked him so much and I was secretly happy whenever we wrestled. I was so lost in my lust that I realized it was ruining what he was supposed to be to me. A best friend. I had so many urges to kiss him and hug him by suprise and confess that I liked him.. but would that ruin our friendship? Would he talk to me again? Would he be...scared of me? At least I told him i was bisexual. And he was suprised. The thing was I was hoping he might say, "I'm gay." He never said it. I never confessed to him that I had a crush on him. That secret never came out. I had to stuff and bottle up my feelings for him and keep them inside. The feelings are secure inside now but I can feel them sometimes. Nobody else in my school is gay or bisexual and I feel so lonely and isolated. I have a new crush but he's also straight, but he also knows I like him which forces me to stay away from him even though I want to be with him. I'm scared to make eye contact with him. The worst thing of all that it makes it mroe complicated because they're both older than me. o///n///oSorry for the long post by the way, I couldn't help it sweatdrop

Poetry in rhythm it touches me so To see how far that we can go We're feeling so happy But really what have we to (show)
Show for the tears we have put into our music We're selling our albums but when will they use it? It's so sad to see that the ones we've set free Would enslave themselves once more to the will of a celebrity
But at least I remember the way it begun, I'll not forget our triumph today. Reserved I'll not show much But yet I have so much to say
Still Remembering - Yours truly
When I wrote this, I had in mind not only the triumph of the true artist over the meaningless pop artist, but also of the great disappointment that I have in the people who realize the existence of the true artist and yet still seek to follow in the pop artist's footsteps and create meaningless songs that they feel will be popular. You see these people all over youtube and I'm sure we know many in real life. It's sad because the true artist who puts his/her heart and soul into his/her music regardless of whether or not anyone is listening will always be eclipsed by what the media depicts as more popular or even what other people depict as popular. Very seldom these days is a person's opinion one and his own. And that is what makes me cry at night.
