I know there's many of you out there who love Zelda pieces and music. The melody, the instruments, the shear beauty of the collection and placement of the notes used, etc. All of it is a masterpiece, and most is all thanks to Koji Kondo.

As you all know, most of the music is orchestrated. Well, I found a site that you all may enjoy. I know I do.

Basically for this thread, I will post up a link to a site where you can listen to almost any track/piece that you can think of from EVERY Zelda game. After you visit the site, I want you to come back here and post what you think of the reorchestrated music, what you original favorite piece is (can be melody's learned from an instrument, background themes, etc.), and what your favorite piece is from the site.

Alright, originally, I love Serenade of Water from Ocarina of Time, the Spirit Temple's theme (OoT), and Midna's Lament (Twilight Princess), just to name a few. When I started to listen to the reorchestrated music, I was blown away. I loved so many of them! But, I have to say, my absolute favorite is Stone Tower Temple theme from Majora's Mask.

So, what are your thoughts/opinions, Gaians?

I really need to draw that now... XD Though, we do already have a topic for this discussion. Though, that topic has died down a good deal, so this might be a nice refresher to clean the slate. Also, moving into Songs of Time: Zelda Music subforum.

Anyway, I love ZREO's work. Though, the one song they don't have (which I really, really would love them to make a cover of) is the original Ballad of the Windfish from Link's Awakening. That and the Flute Boy's song, but someone else has done a fantastic cover that already, so I'd prefer to see a Ballad of the Windfish cover instead.

My favorite song of their work thus far would have to be Mabe Village. It's a great melody and they really do that piece justice with their version. It's soft at the beginning and suddenly gets louder, but it is an overall relaxing song. ^^

And I agree. I was hoping I was going to see Ballad of Windfish redone since it also made an appearance in Majora's Mask, but alas no cover. sad I was disappointed, but maybe some day it'll be added to their playlist.

They /need/ Ballad of the Windfish. It's one of the prettiest songs in the Zelda world, so I'm slightly surprised that wouldn't have it. I don't really go there for music anymore, but mostly because I forgot about it. XD

I used to lsiten to Wind Waker stuff all the time, actually. Usually the Tower of the Gods, then I would skip down to Ganondorf's Boss theme and then listen to Farewalll Hyrule King. Then repeat. I would listen to TP more, but the Hyrule Theme is a little annoying.
