I am a Glock man. What are your thoughts on the new Glock 43, Single stack? Its a 6+1 setup. I dont think it should be considered a defense pistol. Only because I personally dont thing 6 rounds is enough. However, It would make a PERFECT weapon for someone like a DEA, CIA agent that needs to conceal in on a leg holster.

I think it would make a great defense pistol, if it was all you could use; or, in the right situation. Like, as a pocket pistol in unusual or tight clothing, say a tuxedo. But otherwise, I agree, as 6 rounds is not really that great for self defense, although it is similar to a revolver. I'd say it's the minimum for self defense, though.

15 rounds is much better; personally I'd prefer a full sized carry pistol in any case, but that's just me. xP

Man, I can really agree with you here. I would obviously take a 6+1 set up over a pocket full of sand to throw in someones eyes. You made a great point with the tuxedo, or tight clothing. I carry my G19 everywhere i go, Including work at my restaurant. And it prints very slightly, until i put an apron on. wink I love knowing i have 15 HPJ (High performance jackets) on my side. I also agree with you on the fact of the fullside pistol. Because I love the accuracy that you get off the Beretta M9, or even the .45 cal 1911. They are big, long, heavy guns. However the length and weight distribution along the heavy slide and grip, provides an amazing amount of accuaracy. Especially for the 1911's .45 caliber. They are great pistols for accuracy. I stick by glock for defense purposes, Because you can conceal any medium-small size model of any caliber very well. And they all shoot very accurate for being a light weight polymer frame.
