On my personal note. I want Mila Kunis as Joanna, but it seems that Hollywood wants Mia Whatsherface of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland to play her.
I am actually on a page rite now that says either Mia Wasikowska or Zoe Aggeliki. I'm voting for Zoe, she just looks the part.
Zoe would be awesome! I like Mia and all, but just not for this film.
Then I saw a more recent site and it said Mia was pretty much out, but there is another girl who might play Johanna. I don't remember her name, and I'm still voting Zoe!
While Kristen Bell has started a very public campaign to play the District 7 champion, who won her Hunger Games by pretending to be a weakling and outsmarting her competitors, Entertainment Weekly reports that Jena Malone is being considered for the role.
Contrary to previous reports, Mia Wasikowska hasn't been approached for the role (and wouldn't be available to film), though model Zoe Aggeliki could still be in the running.
Saw this today, thinking Jena would be a better choice now.
