What is your favorite manga/anime story line?

Anything with violence, magic, humor, or anything not reality. Magical girl is a great example of this. ^o^
But yeah, no romantic dramas. Those really bore me.

I just bought 星守る犬, and it's really good. I also really like よつばと！... but that's pretty much the only manga I've bought. Right now I'm trying to read Alice in Wonderland in Japanese...

I'm a massive fan of oldschool anime classics like Akira and stuff by Shirow Masamune, both in manga form and anime. Particularly Akira, the storyline in the manga version is so deep and I think even to this day manga writers have struggled to make a story as engaging as Akira was.

I like animes and mangas like Inyuasha, Vampire Knight, and especially Yu Yu Hakusho. I like a lot of action, violence, and language {I have anger problems}, but what makes them worth reading and watching are original characters. My favorite is Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho.
