[ Setting Information/Background ]
World Location: Nalia
Nalia is a land where wooded areas are almost as frequent as the areas with water. Unfortunately, most of these wooded areas are rain forests are constantly flooded. Quickly adapting to these kinds of climates and terrain, people began to build their civilizations up inside the trees. Massive buildings with ladders hanging down to the water for boats, and bridges stretching across from one another for people to walk.
The civilizations across the land live pretty easily. Food is plenty due to several newly adapted fruit trees, and the people have developed water purifiers that run off a form of magic energy to keep themselves running provide constant water for the people. The guard system on these towns are not near as tight as some might expect, but otherwise are fine. They only lack natural metals as resources and are always on the lookout for new lands.

[ Game Introduction/Plot ]
In amongst the civilizations, everyone knows of the lack of resources that all of them suffer. When plots of resources are finally discovered, it is a struggle to keep them guarded or just kept a secret entirely. The city you inhabit is known as Menin. After going several months without any resources, the scouts have finally discovered a large plot of land that they hope to have some resources that they can still use. They were quickly sent back to do another scan over the landscape and it was around a near full month before the people decided that the scouting team was gone. They had yet to return.
They quickly went out on the hunt for some available mercenaries and came across a building built just outside of town. Known as the High Dawn Tavern, they hoped that they would find someone here willing to do a scan of the area. This is where you and your team, whether originally together or not, were discovered. You have been hired to go to the island and perform two tasks. Figure out the actually event that had came upon the scouting party, and discover whether or not there are any resources there that can be used.
Will you do as the town is asking of you, or will you decide to defect from their codes and sell the resources you find to the highest bidder. This is all up to you.
