ok many people who read my other forums know about my guard's captain desi who's really getting on other peoples nerves lately. well come to find out shes's still gonna be on guard and most of my friends on guard are saying if she makes it on the team again then they're not joining. and they keep pushing me into doing the same thing. i dont want to, but then i also dont want them to think that im taking sides with desi. but im trying to keep them on guard even though desi might make it again. so what do you guys think i should do? i need help on what i should do.

I say stick with it if you have a real love for guard. High school drama is pointless and you have to learn to not care what others think. They may be avoiding drama at first by not joining, but they'll be missing out on some great experiences in the end. surprised heart

If you want to stay in Guard then stay in. Explain you're not taking sides. And if they don't believe you it's because they choose to. It doesn't matter what they think as long as you know the truth.

I know how you feel. And as the other two said. Stick with it. Guard is an experience you may not get to have. I have a horrible guard coach but if she's brought back again this year I'm still going to join. Maybe you could talk to your coach or BD. But try to keep your friends in and explain to them that you really want them to stay. Otherwise go with your gut feeling if you don't you'll only feel worse.
