-NEW INFORMATION-
After the big PlayStation 3 news hit just a few days ago, one of the big questions that came out of the event was whether or not the PlayStation 3 would come with a hard disc drive, or if gamers would have to shell out extra dough to get one at launch. In a recent report from Yahoo Games, Sony confirmed to the outlet that the PlayStation 3 will come with the 60GB hard drive as a standard, but users will be able to upgrade if they so desire.
During Wednesday's report, Sony's Ken Kutaragi wasn't clear whether or not the hard disc drive would be included in the retail package or not. This is extremely good news since Sony revealed Wednesday that the hard disc drive would be required for playing games.

Why the hell do I need 60 goddamn gigs... my entire music library is only... 850mb... stare Oh well, more room for torrented movies and anime, I suppose...

Banned_Again_XD Why the hell do I need 60 goddamn gigs... my entire music library is only... 850mb... stare Oh well, more room for torrented movies and anime, I suppose... Apparently in recent info they said that you will be able to download PS1 and PS2 games onto the PS3 hardrive.

Although I wish they would make a memory card convertor so it puts all you old saves on the PS3 without having to start from complete scratch again.
