Ugh I hated the 500 reply achievement and bumped my own thread 480 times and actually had random people do the other 20 bumps.

The chatterbox has been full of BS anyway for years, I don't think a few achievement threads will make much of a difference.

I disagree. Although the Chatterbox is for spam, it is a community as well. I've had wonderful conversations and met amazing people in there. As with all forums, there is a tight knit community of regulars in the forum. Any forum would be upset if their home was spammed. I understand that CB is for spam, but, it is also my favorite forum and every thread pertaining to achievement and nothing else does get rather annoying quickly. This is why, I'd like to have a subforum in the Chatterbox for achievements.

Yeah, CB is for spam... but a certain kind of spam. That kind of argument makes no sense to me, and it irks me because of that, but it's TOTALLY true. rofl If you've been to teh CB for any length of time, you can see that.
Setting up a different forum for strictly Achievements is kinda defeating the purpose of them, I feel, but then where else could you go? Do it in the CB and you get bitched at. Do it in any other forum and you get bitched at and moved to the CB anyways (and then summarily bitched at again). You end up failing the Achievement, so if you're stubborn, you make ANOTHER thread. Repeat.
I think a lot of grief could be avoided if they included threads in Guilds as part of the Achievement.

I agree with what pweep said. The CB is full of smart-a** replies and funny pictures. It's one of a kind and that kind of stuff isn't allowed anywhere else on Gaia or it's just spam. Now it's been flooded and it's full of real BS now.
I understand Gaia wants more forum activity, but this is all wrong.

The CB hates everyone.
Also: I'm kinda glad that there is an achievement forum and one of the rules is that you aren't supposed to purposely screw up achievement threads. That will allow people to get their achievements and be done with it, rather than filling up the CB with a bunch of spam achievement threads.
Killing invisibility threads is inevitable though in the CB. xd
