lucifer is a word that is greatly misunderstood by many people. in english, it is another name for satan. that is why when people hear lucifer, they think satan. but that is wrong.

lucifer, in latin, is "morning star" (literally "light bringer"). it is also the name for venus, the first star to be seen in the sky.
even in the bible, the use the words "morning star" as a reference to lucifer.
so when they sing "her whisper is the lucifer" (translated) it probably means "her whisper is the morning star/light bringer"
lucifer is also a name for venus (mentioned above). venus. the goddess of love. (im catholic and im using mythology. deal with it)
lucifer in shinee's song could mean love. the song is about love if you read the translation.

the song is a "love" song about a very tempting and undeniable lady which controls over you, that you are totaly crazy over her.

that's what i understand about the song .

on the making of the video, they said that the meaning behind their song Lucifer, is that their talking about a woman who is both beautiful like an Angel but also like a demon. I speak Korean, yay 4laugh

Lol another thing that i find funny is that people er excuse me DUMBASSes (lol) are quick to cause trouble becuase the name is big and bold LUCIFER, and becuase idiots mis pronounce SHINee's name and think its She-nee (which means death in Japanese) but what i don't understand is what if there was an actual satanic group named "Rainbow Unicorns" and had songs named "Pink Cotton Candy and "Butterfly roses"? The answer is: NO BODY WOULD CARE ENOUGH TO PAY ANY MND! Whilst in their music videos they are slaughtering people and burning bibles.... :/

i think we have to think positively with this song don 't think negative of this song ....... biggrin i'm big fan of shinee too... i'm not Christian ...... but i love... shinee song very much ......i am little dissapoint crying when they say they are curious of this song .....i think its ok if we like this it just a song ...
