My mum bought a new camera recently. A Nikon D700. She's pretty excited 'cause it's her first full frame camera... Whatever the hell that means.

She babbled on to me about how fantastic it is, and it all went in one ear and out the other, but then I actually saw a photo she took with it...
Possibly the most boring photo in the world, lol, but I couldn't believe how nicely her camera handled the light. I can almost image the feel of the cows fur. I'm rather impressed.

Any shutter bugs interested in buying a second hand D300, very much loved?

I really need to practice more with mine and learn a lot more of the technical stuff and how to get what affects. @__@

Wow, that is a high quality photo, makes a plain photo look great! I bet that camera set her back some!
Knowing your Mum's skills I'm sure she'll put that investment to good use.

Scrub: Yeah, set her back just a tad, lol. Next she wants a D3x or something which is like 7k just for the body...

You're right about the sunject matter, but you're also right about the light. Just looking at that makes me feel all melty and nostalgic for the time I lived out in the woods and my best friend's dad raised longhorns. It would look like that in the evening, and we'd always go play out in the field. T-T

Lol, the camera would be way more than shipping and handling :P
I think she'd be selling her macro lens with it too, it's the only one that doesn't fit her new camera.
