Women, why do you wear hijab?

Assalamualaikum.

Some people may ask muslimah, why women wear hijab?
They think sisters are force to wear one.

I think this question has been ask before.

But, I wanted to know your own opinion. Women of Islam, why do you wear Hijab? Regardless your individual, or religious views. Just say your thoughts.

SubhanAllah... It's almost Ramadhan!! May Allah S.W.T. help and guide us. May Allah S.W.T. give enough food for our brothers and sisters in Gaza, and may Allah S.W.T reward our jihad.

Back to the topic, I do not wear it because my parents forced me, too.
I believe they wouldn't even forced me to if I do not want to wear it, since most peoples are looking down and will probably teased you for wearing that 'piece of material on your head'.

I wear it because it is Islam's fashion and it keeps me close to Allah S.W.T.. It's a very pleasure feeling.

You are protected and watched by the God that had always care for you and help you in the darkness!

I mean, what more could you ask?

We are sooo lucky that we are born as Muslims, rather than those people who are still searching for the light.

Reasons I Wear Hijab:
1. To obey Allah's commandment.
2. To show I am a Muslim woman.
3. To deter men from hitting on me...(It's worked very well.)
4. Privacy. Who needs to see my hair anyways?
5. Lol. Never have to worry about a bad hair day!! So much less time spend on doing hair.

Hijab represents my faith, maturity, modesty, and femininity. <3
