pop punk band madina lake bassist is rly ill and is in a critical condition...becuz he attempted to save a woman getting beat up. its sad but i can't help but think how awesome he is for doing something like that! whoo hoo!!

. . . Ask anyone who's met them. All the members of Madina Lake are awesome like that, and super friendly. smile Even if you just watch their "home videos" on youtube, you can tell they're a good lot.

Okay. I just looked it up myself:
The woman was being assaulted by her husband, so Mathew tried to stop him. However, the man then turned on him, which put him in critical condition. At the hospital, they had to remove roughly one-third of his skull while waiting for the swelling in his brain to go down.
He suffered a broken jaw in two places, broken nose, and fractured skull.
And his twin brother, Nathan, is thankful for all the support they've been receiving from everyone.
The man who attacked his wife and Mathew has been detained by the police. He could serve to a one to three year sentence in jail, and possibly a fine of up to $25,000. His punishments may increase, however, if the court of law deems his crimes serious enough. This would leave him with a prison sentence of three to seven years.
