I guess this is just a temporary question.
Can anyone create a sketchbook thread in the mentee forum? (When I mean sketchbook thread, one where you post artwork in a single thread in a chronological fashion.) Are there rules to who can post there, or anyone can? Even if you don't have a mentor?

Yes, you can post a sketchbook thread regardless if you have a mentor or not. There are some guidelines in a sticky in the mentee forum that can help you out.
