I love my mum. I really love her. I miss her tonnes and she sends me presents all the time 'cause she misses me too (:
She was in the city last weekend for a photography competition and saw this dress and belt on a model in a window and thought it would look good on me, so she bought them (as well as a cute as jacket since it's winter here) and sent them to me as a surprise (:
I looooove them, I think they're cute as. But damn, the dress is short. I called her up and was like, "Mother, the dress is short, and I'm tall!"
She was like, "Oh is it too short to wear to church?". Hell yes it's too short to wear to church! xD
I'm going over to the top west side of Australia on Saturday for a week to visit a friend before he goes to Afghan for 6 months, so I'll take them there. Maybe I'll get lucky xD He's already paid for my flights, I owe him :P
So yeah. Presents from parents who miss you. They give me nice fuzzy feelings (:

My mum's husband's family are American (like my mum's husband) but they live there. So, she goes to visit them for months on end. And, when she does I miss being able to just call and talk to her. She always sends me something nice from overseas and, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. So I understand how wonderful those little things can be. C:

Szen All I have to say after seeing the pic is: WTF? ARE YOUR LEGS LIKE 9 FEET LONG?? XD They keep going a decent amount under the dress, too xD The shoes make my legs look longer as well xD Kei: Lol, that's all it takes to get a flight over there? I wish I could get that sorta flight traveling offer. crying rofl Cause then atleast when I have vacation time I'd get to go to some nice places.
