I constantly see them go at it, but as of recently I've noticed my male kitten doing something peculiar(SPL?). They're 3 months old already, and supposedly we're not supposed to get them fixed until they're 6 months old. But I only noticed like a day or two ago that my male kitten has been getting into what I kind of believe is the "mating" position. My dad keeps saying that they're still at an age that they're unaware of their genders still. I'm not so sure. As far as I can tell Adam(my male kitten) hasn't been successful in penetrating(for lack of better word) my female kitten Dyna. The latest attempt I had prevented by going over and picking Adam up and placing him on the other side of the room.
My question is, is it ok to leave them be and get them fixed in another 3 months? I don't want them to mate and have another hoard of kittens running around.
