Maybe you could answer questions if you don't have any to ask. But if you find there is a question you'd like to ask, of course you can do so through PMs if you don't want to flaunt your ignorance.
I'll say this, though. I like the Q&A forum, both here and in the main Gaia forums, because if I ask a question there, I often get lots of responses from different perspectives, which helps me get a better understanding of whatever is confusing me.
