When I showed my, at the time, boyfriend my tattoo idea which was the BVB logo and some beautiful wings, he hated it because they were an "emo" band. I've been through this with Escape the Fate, Good Charlotte, and MCR. What makes a band emo?

to make a band emo its the lyrics they use and the way they sing it...but most ppl think that its the way they dress which i guess is a good way to find them but it doenst mean anything....honestly there isnt really a differnece between punk rock screamo and heavy metal heavy metal consists of constant growling and screaming screamo would more than likey be bvb etf and so on good charlotte is punk rock

See that's what I thought. I always thought 'emo' music was just different sets of rock. It got to a point that bands like Blood on the Dance Floor and DotDot Curve were emo, so when I had a fight about BVB not being emo, no one would listen

i deont believe that bvb is emo bc in any of their interveiws and such andy and the crew talk about how in school ppl called them fags and emos and cutters but he always tells ppl that growing up ppl were cold to others that are like them to never give up but i do not think they are emo i think more screamo

They're catergorized on myspace as metal. I don't think theyre emo either. They were together before emo was even a word or anything.

on their myspace they have put down metal but they are more screamo idk but emo music is not about the clothes they wear its about the lyrics they use and they were around before emo was even a term used for that kind of stuff
