Today I went white water rafting with the college group at my church. I've only been twice before that, both times with guides.
This time, it was two people per raft and no guide. It was all us!
It was a thrill too! There were times where my partner and I got stuck on rocks (frequently). And one of those times, ninety percent of our raft was underwater and the part of the raft I was on was hanging off of the rock. We were backwards and I had to dig my shoes into the sides of the raft to keep myself from falling out because of the angle I was at.
And after we got unstuck, we finished that section of the rapids going backwards!
Neither of us panicked at all during any part of the ride. We put our trust in the Lord and let the water carry us where it did. We just steered ^^
I had so much fun; I never worried because I knew the Lord was watching out for us. I really want to do it again!!!

I have gone white river rafting with my girl scout troupe some years ago and last year my family+extended family and I did a lot of tubing. Both are AWESOME! And so much fun. ^_^

I'd like to do some tubing too.
gah, I've only been w.w.r. three times and I think I'm a junkie now, lol

If you get the chance to do it just once, take it :3
I never thought it would be so much fun; I was terrified my first time but a few minutes into it, all of the fear went away ^^
