Any free Japanese Language programs you can think of?

This post is so others can find Japanese-learning software.
Please specify Mac or PC. I'm talking about thinks like Byki (for mac and PC). If you really want to post something that costs money, it should be kind of cheap. Oh, and how effective is it? Byki REALLY worked for me. biggrin

Watching videos in Japanese is good practice, and it's fun.

I also recommend Anki for making flashcards. It's an SRS program, meaning it schedules reviews based on your previous response using an algorithm that is supposed to be particularly efficient for learning.

Also, this isn't a program, but All Japanese All The Time is a worthwhile read for anyone interested in learning Japanese. (Since that site tends to be a bit hard to navigate, after that first read, go here. The FAQ is also worth a read)

Oh, also, Reviewing the Kanji, which is supposed to accompany the Remembering the Kanji books by James W. Heisig, is a great resource should you decide to use that method (which I personally am a big fan of).
