My story: I accidentally drowned some time ago, for reasons I can't remember. We spirits tend to forget such details over the course of time, but I know I was just a commoner back then. My spirit evolved into a yurei- a species of youkai- maybe about 50 years after my death, before I truely figured out that I had become a Zashiki Warashi. I roamed around for some time, just having fun and observing how the world changed, though I do believe some sort of hunter managed to nab me, and I found myself as a slave. It seems like some fun though, so I'll play along for a little while.
