yay! everybody loves plotholes!
post any plotholes you know of in brotherhood/the normal anime, or answers to other people's plotholes
so here i go- in the first anime, Ed transmutes by simply clapping in the 1st episode, so why are they all so amazed when he heats up the water using no cicle when he can make frickin' WALLS using the same method?

Maybe that's because they didn't think Ed would ever do that kind of alchemy? I mean, since that's not the type of alchemy he's known for, maybe that's why they're amazed.
... not really a plothole, I guess, but... there's this one episode in Brotherhood (I think it's a spoiler. Highlight to read?) when Roy was fighting the Fuhrer candidates. He didn't even attempt to use alchemy! Well, he did, once, but since he failed (the Fuhrer Candidate kicked his hand or something), he didn't attempt it again. I know in the manga he didn't use Flame Alchemy in that scene, but it was only a few panels, so it doesn't really matter. In Brotherhood, they lengthened the fight scene, so now it just looks weird that Roy didn't use Flame Alchemy when his gloves were still perfectly fine and usable. XD

that is a weird plothole.... i dont have an answer to that though. maybe his left glove (short range attacks)
was damaged in his fight with envy.
By the way that wasnt a spoiler for me ive seen all of the episodes of brotherhood out now biggrin

Cuz he was younger then.
