What Ibiki didn't know is that the snake and Kabuto had switched places, so while the snake took the form of kabuto and even acted like kabuto the real one would be free to do his masters bidding. The fact that the snake knew nothing of their plans was an added bonus.

Reign had been helping everyone get out, and before going back in, he had created an oxygen-infused H2O mask. He knew everyone had exited except for Ibiki... and Kabuto. He got down to Ibiki, who was nearly passed out from the gas. Reign created another H2O mask, though more difficult due to the gas somehow taking out the water from the air, but he managed to get it done, and just in time. As he was escorting Ibiki from the room, he saw something or someone run extremely quickly out of the interogation room, then out of this section of the building.

Reign and Ibiki got out to the others. "Did you see anyone exit the building just a few moments ago?" Reign asked everyone. All that were still mostly concious shook their heads 'no'. "Alright," Reign sighed, "everyone that can stand, walk, and support yours and someone else's weight, grab someone that can not do so and help them to the hospital. I'll take Ibiki." They all gathered up one or two people and headed to the hospital.
