He did hear her stomach growl. It wasn't as quiet as when he had first heard her footsteps. It was louder. He was closing in on her. He grinned wickedly as he began to dash through the forest with inhuman speed. All at once, He began to find her scent again, he could see her footprints beneath his. And he could hear her breathing as she ran. Now to close in for the kill.

Lynee cursed wildly in her head. She could hear footsteps behind her, inhumanly fast ones. She ran faster, trying to stall more time in order to organize her attack. She kept her knives concealed in order to use them as an umpleasant surpise. Why couldn't she find her way out of this d*** forest? Sure, she didn't have the best sense of direction, but it was atleast decent enough to get out of a place like this!
((gotta go to bed. See you later.))

While he had begun to smell the heady aroma of her blood, he had to remember that she could still have a trick or two up her sleeve. He had to admit that she was the toughest prey he had ever chased. It only made sense that he would get a greater reward for catching her. He licked his sharp fangs as he approached her but began moving around her. He was adept at climbing trees, so as he got close, he launched himself into the branches above her, and when she was just going underneath him, he pounced.

Lynee started to huff, her exhaustion starting to catch up with her. She could hear the tree leaves rustling just ahead of her, and right as she passed beneath them, a large form burst out from atop them. She quickly whirled around, and took a sweep at his throat with one of the silver daggers, trying to take him out quick. She quickly spun around and kicked him away as well, before moving behind the trees, out of sight. She wasn't trained for nothing. Her reflexes were mainly for close combat or assassinations.
