Real Name: Christopher "Chris" Porters
Alias: Rift
Age: 19
Race: Mutant
Alignment: Villain
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10
Weight: 155lbs
Strength: 200lbs
Personality: Chris is a pretty hyped up guy. Always willing to live on the wild side of his work. Though he can be quite annoying, Chris is very intelligent when it comes to mechanical engineering and observing which makes him a great choice for vehicles and weaponry.
Appearance: User Image
Details: none
Occupation: Engineer
Education: College Student
Alliance:
Base: none
Weapon(s): Sonic Rifle- Used extensively by Chris Porters, the Sonic Rifle generates highly-focused bursts of sonic energy. It releases a high-pitched wail that caused disorientation and/or loss of consciousness in anyone affected by the blast. When set to full power it could shatter solid objects and break bones. Unlike some guns, however, the sonic rifle had the advantage of being able to function underwater, though it unfortunately requires Chris to wear protective headgear in order to protect themselves from the effects of the sonic energy.

Macroscope - The macroscope a piece of optical enhancement technology that could be attached to the side of Chris's face in order to significantly increase the accuracy of the Chris's shots, particularly at longer ranges. Typical scopes were extensions of macrobinocular technology, where the visual-enhancement provided therein was reformed from a hand-portable device into a single eye piece.
Skill(s): Engineering, Transporting objects & people, designing ships, and things along those lines.
Weaknesses: Kittens
Powers: Portals- Chris's mutant ability allows him to create subspaces called Portals. His powers aren't to be confused with teleportation, in fact it is quite different. His powers allow him to both bend the size of these portals and articulate the nature of these portals specifically for the object or thing that needs to be transported. Chris is also able to somewhat fly because of these portals. Not literally, however he can create portals at any that lead to higher altitudes, as well creating portals to break his fall or for another person. There sizes can range from small pocket portals the size of a penny to more larger ones that are the sizes of vehicles, to those that are larger than houses. He has the ability to put one thing through a portal and have it emerge through another elsewhere, as well as severing the connection to destroy it. In other words he is able to transport parts of his body to other places without actually moving. Chris can also use these portals for attacking on a smaller scale. By changing it's vacuuming nature, Chris can alter it in reverse so that it sustains a bulging nature that knocks away anything that comes in contact with it on impact. By centering the flow of the portal on a specific body part, he can render it permeable as well, causing incoming objects to pass completely through it. However extreme concentration is needed for this and he cannot do it simultaneously on too many part of his body. By changing the nature of the portals once more, Rift is also able to form manifest the energy of his portals into javelins, which he can throw at an object to cause it to be transported. He can use this ability offensively and defensively as well as well transporting portions of objects.
Origin of Powers: Genetically
Relatives: Grandmother
Biography: Chris has always lived in Arkansas ever since he was a child. Born and raised in Little Rock, he lived on a small farm where he would spend most of his time with his Grandmother, who is one of the most influential people in his life as of now. His parents on the other hand are part of the Anti-Mutant League organization and were unaware for a while that he was a mutant in potential. It wasn't until they found most of their contents in the farm scattered across the pasture. Not only the livestock, but the animal stalls and pins as well. Nothing broken, only separated from each other. Unlike most human parents, they did not send him off because of this new change. However at the same time they weren't exactly happy. Instead they would leave him to be watched by his grandmother who practically raised him until adulthood. Still he didn't hate them for it. In fact it could have been worst. They could have simply turned them into their authorities and rid themselves of him for good but they didn't. Now Chris has joined the Brotherhood who he now works for as one of their personal engineers for vehicles and weapons.
