I've been working on a sundress for... a while. I finish every single seam, so it eats a lot of time. Anyway, I finally assembled the whole thing today, and... It makes me look pregnant! gonk
Oh man, I don't think a belt is going to fix this - and WORSE! The type of belt I originally wanted would swallow my waist rather than accentuate it. The best solution is a corset, but those are tight, uncomfortable, and hot - the opposite of what I want!
I knew I should have stuck to form-fitting clothing....

Use one of those really wide belts that go around the smallest part of your waist instead of where it's supposed to. o: Kinda like this: Click!

I have one like that, but my boobs are so big, the belt comes up right under them - and my fat little tummy comes right out under it. ^^;
I wonder if I can take in the waist of this thing without haveint to adjust the sleeves..... ninja

You can make a cloth belt that is rippled or, slightly stretchy to make your little tummy look even littler. And, then it will sit where you want it to. C:

That sure is sad to make a dress and not like how it turned out. Its cool that you can sew though. I'm useless with a sewing machine.
