I hate when this happens.

I get the urge to clean, then I decide to sit down for a wee break and i don't feel like cleaning at all anymore, even though I know I should. Its really annoying how lazy I am.... BUT I DON"T WANNA CLEAN!!! gonk

I'm thinking I'll give myself a few more minuets and force myself out into the living room to clean that instead of tackling the closet like I was going to.

Anyone else go through this?

Actually... I'm quite the opposite in the springtime.

Once I start cleaning... I never want to stop. My husband has to literally rip the broom away from me sometimes. sweatdrop

I think it's cause I get into the mindset that cleaning is an absolute necessity at this time of year, because there's no way in hell I'd want to do a thorough cleaning in the summer heat... or the biting cold... or the horrible gusts of wind that keep trying to blow the trash every which way stressed Weather is quite the cleaning motivator gonk

ugh, which is why i never let myself stop mid-task. i have no self-discipline sometimes. if i don't feel like continuing a job, i usually put it off as long as possible.

It happens to me as well. I learned a trick for another person to set a timer for 15 minutes and just work on what I need to do for 15 minutes, real strict like.

After the 15 minutes, I get a break. Sometimes even an hour.
Not guild, no remorse.

Then I do the 15 minutes again.

Its amazing, but 4 of the 15 minutes is at least 1 strong hour of work.

I can relate. I hate to change tasks before I have completed them and I often find myself on Gaia for a few hours on end because there is "still more stuff to do". :/
