I know a bunch of friends going into the Navy (one that is in your spot with waiting for basic and another who just finished basic and is waiting to get shipped off) and another who is going into the Air Force after high school directly to work on jet engines. biggrin I have so much respect for you guys. I could never do it. My father was Coast Guard and my grandfather Marine too.

but yes, having a job is good. xD anything you can get your hands on and that you can do without hating work is worth it. (i just switched jobs too... it's not really the same but i guess in terms of accessibility and trying something new... we're in the same 'boat'. OHH! where's jaft when you need him? xD)
