My girlfriend was born with a condition known as Type 3 estrogen induced hereditary angioedema. Its a condition that involves parts of the blood and during an attack, muscles begin to swell. Her form causes swelling of her internal organs in the abdominal region. It causes her tremendous amounts of pain during an angioedema attacks and can continue for hours. For her case it begins with a light dull pain, like a stiff muscle, but it progresses to that of trying that of a severe crampx20. Whenever I think of her going through such an attack, my eye well up with tears and I cry. I know God gave her this for a reason and while that reason may not be apparent now, I do wish for it to stop. I can't stand the sight of her going through this. I want her to be able to do the things she used to do. She didn't start having attacks until a few years ago (Reason: puberty-> estrogen) and she has been through so much without any form of treatment. You must understand, only 2000 people in the world have this condition so treatment is scarce. Please keep her in your prayers. Please.

If it's caused by estrogen then she'll have it until she hits menopause! That's a long time eek I'll pray for her.
