heart Wherever I Go by Hannah Montana heart
That song reminds me of my best friend of about 11 years and I had to move over 600 miles away and haven't been able to see her for almost 2 years now. sad

Jude Conlee
Let me tell a fairly interesting story that most likely nobody will want to read but that answers the question.

I remember my mum and I were in the car and we were going to pick up my little sister from someplace. She left me in the car as she went to go get my sister. She spent an abnormally long period of time trying to find her, during which I got very nervous, started crying, and wished that I would go insane so that I wouldn't have to deal with reality anymore. (It is a fairly disturbing quirk of mine to have thoughts like that.)

Anyway, I recovered from this little breakdown by the time my mum came back with my sister. We got in the car and started driving home. We had the radio on, and the first song that came on after we started driving home was "Wish You Were Here", by Pink Floyd. I paid careful attention to the lyrics, which were written about the band's former singer, Syd Barrett, who went insane. It frightened me somewhat, because the lyrics somehow spoke to me in a very direct way - it made me feel as though someone was asking me about my wish to go insane, asking me whether or not that was really what I wanted. Never since then have I truly wished that I would lose my mind.

The song had been significant to me before, but it had never meant so much to me before that moment, and it has never had the same effect on me before. So I suppose that answers the question.

Wow. O_O
Creepy.

I don't know....Hmmm.....

I don't know who it's by, but the song that goes something like 'I drove my shevy to the levy but the levy was dry.'
And then 'two old boys drinkin whisky and wine sayin this will be the day that I die'
Or something like that....

Anyhow, I'm not sure why that song came to mind, but it just kind of.....did. You know?
