Which verified what I already knew... that she's a the most useless, and whiny, character on that show. She serves no purpose!

Theres only six numbers in the Valenzetti equation, 4 8 15 16 23 42, only 6 eligible "replacements" for Jacob.

But there were countless other names (and corresponding numbers) that had been crossed out. Obviously failed prospects, but it does mean that there were others that were considered... and yet Kate wasn't.

Her name was on the thing at the lighthouse however. By 51 if I am not mistaken.
And Littleton (claire) was written on Jacobs wall if I am not mistaken 313?

There were a lot of names written in down in Lighthouse, but Jacob didn't want her to go there. As Hurley said, she kind of wasn't invited...
Vanima eket-yeah, i noticed that too. she's scarier then Rousseau-way scarier.
SPOILER!!!!!
I love how they gave ben the same choice concerning Alex and this time he chose her. Maybe being away from the island is a good thing for him.

I really liked that too, though I never thought that he didn't choose Alex. The look on his face when Keamy shot her, I think Ben thought that he was bluffing. That there were certain rules that had to be followed in his little battle with Widmore and that Alex was off limits. Especially since Ben went after Widmore at the end of the episode and vowed to kill Penny.
I agree, though. I'm so glad that they showed that. Ben really did love Alex. Even in different timeline.
I don't know why, but I also found this episode really hilarious. Miles' lines cracked me up.
