So...
Intermediate band got to sight-read a few songs. Three of which were leftovers from the Advanced band 'cause the BD is still thinking about which piece goes to which band.
Brazil: Ceremony, Song, and Samba
Prelude and Rondo
Urban Dances
Winter's Dawn
Agua's Whelm
Legends of the Yucatan
Brazil was good. But some of the rhythms messed up our percussion and bass clarinet section.
Prelude and Rondo...rhythms screwed us over (were only intermediate >.>)
Urban Dances...pfft. Cake. xD
Winter's Dawn was irritating not because of difficulty, but it was boring...
Agua's Whelm had it's ups and downs. In levels of interest and excitement. (It was written by a 16-year old. Or so I heard.)
Legends of the Yucatan...made a few of us laugh only because some people paid more attention to the names of the movements like "Ix Chel: "Lady of Rainbows" the Goddess of Flowers" than the song itself. x3
So...
What songs did you guys get? That is, if you're having an upcoming concert.
