~BIO~


9GOATS BLACK OUT is a visual kei band, formed in late 2007 in Tokyo, Japan.

The band has three members, ryo (vocals), utA (guitar) and hati (bass). They have two support members, akaya (manipulate) and aki (drums). Vocalist ryo is previously known as vocalist of the band GULLET.

In January 2008, they released their first album ”devils in bedside” in a Limited edition on their website. In April, they re-released the album officially in Japan. On August 8th 2008 they had their first live as a band in Shinjuku, Tokyo at Takadanobaba AREA. In September, their first single ”Sleeping Beauty” was released.
Their first release in 2009 was Black rain, an EP with 7 (8 in the limited edition) songs, which was released in February 14.

On April 22nd 2009, 9GOATS BLACK OUT was signed in Europe by the German record label CLJ Records.

I love 9Goats, too. Much awesomeness. Sometimes I get obsessed with listening to the song "Sink" and "a light". I like how relaxing they are. **is listening to them now**

I downloaded the Sink PV and put it on my PSP and I watch it at work. It keeps me from stabbing people. :3

Anyone listened to the new album yet?
Also, I read this on a site about them. It kinda pissed me off. "WONDER WHY THEY CALLED THE ALBUM SOMETHING THEY HAD NO IDEA ABOUT UNTIL THEY USED WIKIPEDIA." >_>

Is their new album actually called "Tanatos?" If so, that's odd, especially if it's leaning towards what I know the word to mean. In which case it would look like "Thanatos."

Regardless of grammatical errors, I'm sure they have their reasons and it's a great album title. I haven't heard anything by these guys yet, but I've heard excellent reviews about them. I'll start soon enough.

Idiots who think they can sit there and argue against someone for using a term for it's sound as opposed to meaning should be shot in the groin.

I'll have to second that! I just got it and finished my initial listen and I'm quite impressed. I can't say if I have a favorite song yet or even have a full grasp of the entire creation, but a few more listens shall warrent a better review.

I am in debt to this reference. smile
