My boyfriend asked me to marry him and I really want my wedding to be lolita themed. He said it was alright, but I have no idea where to start. Tips and tricks are much appreciated. heart

Oh my congratulations! Well if I were you I would get the last issue of the American Gothic and Lolita Bible. The last issue they made was entirely wedding themed and actually had a lot of good ideas for dresses and decorations and favors and such. I'm not sure wich ones but some brands actually do have lolita wedding dresses according to the G&L Bible and they had good ideas for wedding dresses that weren't actually lolita but still had a lolita Victorian feel to them. You would also need to decide what the color scheme would be for the wedding for bouquets, bride's maids dresses and decorations. You would also need a good place for the wedding pictures if you want to do them somwhere other then the church but of coarse the most important part would be deciding a wedding date and where to have it.
here is the link on amazon for gothic and lolita bible 5http://www.amazon.com/Gothic-Lolita-Bible-Unnumbered-v/dp/142780351X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1262987640&sr=8-1-fkmr0

Congratulations!! I hope your bridesmaids don't mind being covered from head to toe in laces and bows! 4laugh heart
I couldn't really suggest anything other than keeping an eye out for decorations with excessive frill... Maybe I should buy some stock in the doily market.
Thanks for passing that link along, SailorEarth, but I was afraid of a broken link for a sec until I realized there was an extra number "5" at the beginning of the url that was throwing the link off.
Reading the reviews for that edition, it sounds like there are more free patterns included in that one than in most other issues... do want. eek
