Ok, so I have a cartilage piercing, And I got it done at Claire's... (I know, big mistake... Moment of weakness during a sale...) Well, seems the lady did them wrong, I'm allergic to the post type, AND it's stuck... Seriously stuck to the point I'm pulling with all my strength and the only thing I accomplished was partly gauging my ear with the ball... Now, the question, Does any one have a magical way to get the earring out? Or Am I just gonna have to grow a pair and cut it our with wire cutters... Input please?

You should be able to just go to your local hospital. People walk in for all sorts of stuff like that. They should be able to get it out for you now problem, but they will likely charge you a bit. If so, take the bill to Claire's and tell them you want them to pay for it.

Hmm, probably would be easiest, I just didn't have to resort to going to the hospital. Thanks for the suggestion, it might come to that. sweatdrop

Don't worry, just head on over to the Emergency room. Bring a few books, magazines, they'll get to you pretty quickly. I had to go once due to a horrible allergic reaction ((found out that day I am deathly allergic to z-packs... litterally, deathly, if I was on them for much longer)). Like he said, they are use to that sort of thing. I wouldn't try to do anything yourself... once I decided to try to trim the wire on my braces: bad idea.

yeah, claires is not great. the f things up all the time. since you are already gonna go to the doctor, you seem to have your solution. i'd suggest cleaning it as much as you can though, alcohol, peroxide, and salt water should help.

Yeah, you should never get your cartiladge pierced at Claire's. Cartiladge is basically really, really thin bone, and the piercing gun shatters it and makes it hurt like hell. It's fine for lobe piercing, but not much else. It's best to go to a tattoo parlor and get it pierced with a needle, it's less painful. (My friend got hers pierced at Claire's and it did shatter her ear a little, not as bad as some people's. It healed a little weirdly and it has a bump around it, but that's about it. It's worse for some people though.)
