Hit a pillow with your sticks (like a roll) for 20 mins a day. It helps. Even though you aren't on snare anymore....

To me bass drum is a lot easier. But what am I saying I'm in the Front Ensemble

i love being in the front ensambel but its kinda hard cuz u have to listen back to line up.. ne ways. make sure u practice a LOT!! its not something u can blow off or depend on others.. esp with the base drum people can see and hear if u mess up. make sure u stay relaxed!! very important and rotate ur wrists. it is like turning the door or windshield wipper (sp?) movement. and ALWAYS ALWAYS count!!! and have fun
