for christmas, my wonderful aunt got me some knee-high combat/pole climber boots with 24-eyelet lace up, and a zipper on the side to cheat.
the only problem is...i'm not sure what to wear with them. i usually wear a t-shirt and blue jeans...but i think it defeats the purpose if i leave them under my pant legs. If i put them over, it usually look kinda baggy and unflattering. i think they might look good over some skinny jeans though, or maybe a skirt.
If there is anyone who has boots like these and would like to share their experiences with, i would greatly appreciate it.
thank you~ ninja

try skirts, or shorts for pole climbers.....maybe even a kilt....if you are feeling particulary freaky/kinky try fishnets and garterbelts with something frilly.....or not...

Keevan Draco ROFLMAO!!! somehow i knew Rellik was going to post that......it was enevitable... Bloody hell, what is it about me that makes people assume I'll post stuff like that? Honestly I very rarely post that kinda comment here and I still have a rep for doing it.

And then a nice Tshirt or a corset or something.

You, sir, are a unique paragon among other men who proudly sports his cynicism in front of the masses like a god. The fact that i experienced a form of precognition of your thoughts goes to show you that there are people in the world just as sick and twisted as yourself....feel confident in your godhood you crazy man you... @Wisper Gently: yes...yes you are....enjoy it to it's fullest. (it's the secret to ultimate happiness) @Mammalfeather: I'd do as Jonathon suggests.......

Well you shouldn't wear underwear with them, that's for sure.

How is this even a question?
If you want to wear pants that show off the boots, yes, buy skinny jeans/pants.
Otherwise any skirt is a yes.
A dress too. I like to couple my combat boots with pretty dresses in order to offset the tough look of the boots.
Experiment. You don't need us to tell you what to wear.
Should've gotten a pair with no zipper. Those look cheap. Just sayin'.

modest skirt, fishnets, and a nice long-sleeved shirt would make a nice, classy look... or, skinnnies and a tank/T

I would suggest going to the thrift store, and looking for these things: 1. Stockings 2. Fishets (2 or 3 pair, one you can turn into a shirt) 3. Black, plaid, or jewel toned skirts 4. Maybe some shirts other than t-shirts
I've done this, too. Try looking for a dress you can cut down the middle and alter into a long black coat. I have some boots like yours, and my long "coat" always looks very epic with my nana boots.
((Also, if you can't order off the internet or wait till Halloween, take about $20 and get 2 or 3 pairs of nice tights/knee socks at target, hot topic -despite the pain in saying that store-, spencers -more pain-, or even walmart might have some nice ones.))
