Update to everyone. I have been so stressed at work that I took a day & 1/2 off due to the fact I broke out in massive hives all over my body. So I decided, my life is too important to me to be this stressed and this overworked all the time. So... I gave notice at my job. As of June 1st I will be officially unemployed. I gave that long of a notice, because I have to train the people who will be doing all the jobs I do, and it will take at least that long. But at least I now have an end point to look forward to!!!

Yikes! Sorry to hear the stress levels reached that high. I can only imagine what you're going through. I've been stressed from work a lot recently but I've never made it to the point where hives were involved. That's some serious business and I'm glad to hear you've decided to do something about it. Take good care of yourself in the mean time.

Livythia: Thanks so much for your support. I will have worked this job for 4 years as of April 9th. It is very high stress and thousands of $s are involved everyday. I just can't stand the bullshit anymore. I went to university to become an artist and that is what I intend to do. I am giving up an incredible salary and I keep asking myself if I am insane. But I just have to believe that I have made the right decision.

I've been really busy lately. I feel bad not being able to check at least once a week like I used to. When I did recently return I thought "Wow.. I haven't missed much at all" and then I told myself things will probably pick up with the summer. That or the next book release.

I just spent the last three days in Chicago at the Art Institute Museum. It was great!
