I really don't want to take any anti depressants. I don't feel as if I'm depressed, I would just like something to mellow me out. On thursday I shall talk to my new, hopefully more caring, doctor and see what he thinks would be best for me.

GRM, I hope you're feeling better.
I took Prozac for a while, I never had any issues with it. *shrug* Except that the 10mg they started me on did nothing. And the 20mg did nothing. Hell, the 40mg made me feel a /little/ better. Then again, I was in HS. Maybe the drugs don't work well with teens? *shrug* When they bumped me up to 80mg and I only felt slightly better than I did on 40, they talked about combining it with other meds - parents wouldn't let that happen. So I stayed on 80mg and never really felt any better. Then after a year I stopped taking them because my parents' health insurance no longer covered me. So, I dunno. If you want really super mild, maybe try Prozac, but be careful because it may not do /anything/.

NEW POST HERE!
My new doctor, a cool, kick a** understanding and talk to you like a human doctor, prescribed me new meds. Not sure what they are, but they're small and white, probably similar to what my sister in law is taking. I'll take my first one on Monday night because the next day my sister in law doesn't work so I don't need to drive anywhere.

God-Raped-Me @ Trish: The pills were just weird, They made me tired while I was awake but when I would sleep they wouldn't let me sleep. I was sleeping on and off pretty much all day today. I'm also on an oddly high dose 60mg. I have an appointment with the doctor next week I'll talk to him about it.
Once your dose is adjusted and you're on the right meds it will be really nice. A good doctor is important, and since you're in Canada I'd try to get in to see a genuine psychiatrist. Mine prescribed with excellent skill. Ciprilex is a good low dose anti-depressant (it gives you dry mouth though) but getting a correct diagnosis is crucial in deciding the right prescription.

I still don't FEEL like I'm depressed. Angry, yes! But I don't have the desire to lay about all day and do nothing.
I did get new meds, can't remember what these ones were called, but I haven't gone on them yet because I have to do a lot of driving, and if they do what the last ones did, I won't even be able to walk properly. Not to mention I have kids to look after and I really don't want to be all "blah I feel like s**t leave me alone!".
