A Muslim, Army psychiatrist is under suspension for shooting up an army base. He was scheduled to be sent to Iraq, and was very unhappy about it.

This does not look good for American Muslims sad

i know, my friend was about to go there, but his paperwork got messed up so he is saved. Thank God.
But still the psychiatrist is from Virginia Tech.
Lesson of the Day- Don't go to Virginia Tech.
So 32 people were shot ...
sad that the Muslim community has to take all the blame for this.
It is like religious prejudice.

It kind of seems like he snapped. I guess we don't have enough information yet to truly know why he did it, or if he was even sane at the time. It is really unfortunate, both that people were killed, and also that people will immediately make the connection with Islam, which doesn't help our image.

He did snap >< It happens with anyone who is emotionally on the edge.
But you are right, they're going to connect it with Islam.

Like the shooting in UT in Texas, the guy apparently snapped. They learned that during his autopsy.
