Okay, here's my second rant. X3
Anyways, gotta be serious for a second. Now, I bet you are all familiar with newbs. You either know one (at least) or are one. Well, my problem isn't so much with newbs. I mean, we all have to start somewhere. My problem is with the people who feel the need to flame them.
Seriously, what the hell? I understand it gets annoying when they beg. Which is another rant for another day. It's effin' annoying. I've worked hard for my gold. Whether or not it's fake currency or not, I did work for it. Stop begging me for it. I don't beg other people. Back up off my grill, son! D=<
Back on topic. I've seen some perfectly fine newbs in the rallies just chatting with other newbs (not trying to hook up, but rather just being friends), and then all of a sudden, some cluttered-@$$ mofo comes over to them shouting "NEWB u suk coz ur a newb". What the hell? Pardon my French. I don't get it. What did they do to you? Besides, don't we have enough trouble with that in the real world? Besides, I don't care if you have six katanas, three Kikis, seven Cocoas, and Herme's Moon, you're still a newb if you wear 'em all at once. Moreover, if you talk like an illiterate bumpkin, you're a newb. Now, don't take offence is you talk like that. But if you're going around calling people newbs, then by all rights be offended.
I mean, I'm not calling myself rich, but when I dress down so that I'm not begged for every last gold on my account, I get called a newb. Just because I don't want to wear my expensive items. People are already stressed enough by the real world, do we really need to be brought down for not being rich here, too?

Typically the clutter whores
are scammers/hackers. They
hate other newbs because they
think they can fool everyone
else and scam something out
of someone who also hates 'em
and wants to encourage the hate.

Although, I've never fallen for any of those, but they're still annoying to get. And rally scriptors and hackers are annoying as heck.

~{}~Well, well. Finally, someone rants about a topic worth ranting.
I can vouch; Newb Flaming is rather bothersome. Though, I must say, I've done my fair share of it, today.
Flamers are just idiotic people, with nothing better to do, but make other lives miserable.
I remember my first day of Gaia. My first visit to Towns was disastrous. "Hey, N00B!", "Look at that Noooooob".
Gawd, I hated that. I didn't even do anything to them.
Like I said, nothing better to do.
Anyways, on the other, newfound topic; yes, scriptors are very annoying. Especially, the rally scriptors. I wanna punch 'em, but, well, you know....
Pixels can harm no man.

to friends-only to avoid them. I was
literally getting a new "Earn 1 Mill Per
Day With B0tting!" message every day.
I report like 99% of them, but it gets
boring after awhile. Friends-only fixes that.

I remember I was once looking over my older brother's shoulder to see he was having a conversation with some female avatar in Towns. I don't remember what the avatar looked like, except that she was wearing those expensive Bear Pajamas, and she was with another person who was also dressed in extremely expensive items. My brother looked like this:  Anyway, out of the blue while he's innocently passing by, Bear Pajama girl walks up to him and says, "Hey noob, if you press alt+f4 you'll get 10k." My brother, being familiar with this function due to his habit of desperately pressing it whenever I'm watching Barbie films on Youtube, immediately said. "Uh, that would just close my window." For some reason, Bear Pajama girl pressed on, and said. "It does work with ctrl+w though." Here my brother looks up and asks me what that does. I quickly tell him that it would close the window as well. (I've tried it, and it doesn't seem to, but I remember reading about it in a thread warning about various scams.) So my brother tells her this, and Bear Pajama girl just says, "Hmm, smart noob." and goes back to sitting with her friend. My brother wanders off. Anyway, that's the only example of that Hey Noob thing that I can remember. I've gone into Rally/Towns/etc. a few times and haven't seen it otherwise, but I think the incident is part of what turned my brother off of Gaia. While I hope Bear Pajama girl, whoever she is, went away feeling somewhat awkward and uncomfortable, I suspect she just felt smug about how she went around 'testing noobs'. On the subject of hackers, I've recieved a grand total of one 'You have been repotted, username and password plz.' Although at one point I was getting dozens of those 'Earn 1 Mill Per Day With B0tting!' messages. Which leads me to another story, but I'll save it.

Hell, you see my avi right now. I'm obviously not a newb. I'm not the riches son of a gun, but still, definitely not a newb. Plus, I've been with Gaia since it's first year anniversary, and have stuck with it through all its adventures. Although, I have quit more than once. Which is why this avi isn't as old as I claim to be.
Anyways, like I said before, when I underdress so that I'm not picked out of a crowd in rallies.... still.... it happens. You can't ever be in the middle. It's as if rally is bipolar, you're either on one end of the spectrum or the other. No happy medium. And being on the poor side only leaves you to be ridiculed and detested for not having an item that is overly priced in the Market Place.
As far as I'm concerned, most people, whether you have 1 gold or 1 million gold is a newb. Because all they do is talk! What the heck?!?!?! It's an effin' rally. Race for God's sake. Or whoever you believe in. But still, I don't go around flaming people. I do offer my opinion every now and then, but my sole purpose isn't to start a fight, it's to do the near impossible task of finding a race.
