Gamestop is having a All Time Greatest Video Game Hero and currently it's in the Semi-Finals with Gordon Freeman vs Link. Gordon Freeman is actually winning by just a couple of votes! Should we allow this to happen? I don't think so! So please head over there and vote for our Greatest Hero: LINK!

I just found out something: Gordon is winning against Link in the Gamespot's Hero Competition most likely due to the competition being announced by Valve in Steam Community news.

Link was was always console where as Half Life was both console and PC, it was an unfair vote as more people would have been able to play Half Life where as only people with Nintendo consoles would have been able to play games with Link. Also factor in that Nintendo became very unpopular over the past decade till the Wii came out, they were rapidly losing sales to Sony and their Playstation2 and Microsoft with XboX.
