So, I'm not exactly sure how many bands ACTUALLY participate in a winter drumline season. We do, and I'm excited because it's almost here!!!! And I'm even more excited because we got bumped up a class and we have a new assistant director...and...like our head director...he's a percussionist!!!!!!! that means two percussionists helping us...so we're gonna beast!!!! So who all has a winter drumline season?

There's one near where I live that I participated in last year, but it's not connected to our school or anything. It was a bad year though, due to weather (canceling rehearsals), but I enjoyed it. My first year playing a keyboard instrument!

My band director hired the percussionist, that student taught him last year into helping with marching band, now he is starting a winter percussion this year. We will compete next year or the year after. I signed on for mallets, since I play them in marching band.
