This may be simple to answer, may not be, I don't know. Why is it that most if not all of the emo guys I know are gay/bisexual? Is it, like, an emo thing? Or is it just a very strange coincidence?

So I knew a lot of emo kids in high school, and I think for most of them, they aren't really bi or gay. But they say they are to have something else that sets them apart. Or they could be curious, but it never really bears any fruit.

The generally accepted answer is that they are not nesiccarily homosexual, but want the acceptance of thier peers, and mis-interpret these feelings.
Or so those therapy-types say, exept I know a lot of "emo/goth" people who are quite straight.
EDIT: So according to science, yes it is just a "emo/goth" thing.
