Gone

I watched you,
My pain was intense and fresh.
I saw you again,
Once more in the flesh.

I was at loss,
Didn't know which way to feel.
Seeing you standing there,
Felt so unreal.

Your smile, your eyes,
I had to turn away.
Too many memories
Came flooding my way.

You looked so fine,
Happy and well.
Before things turned,
To a nightmarish hell.

Seeing you again made me weep,
Couldn't close my eyes last night
Couldn't sleep.
I cant believe you are gone,
Now or ever
Its all gone wrong.

I miss you my darling friend,
No words could ever be more true.
I loved you with almighty depth,
And now I long for you...
